Jesse Robinson, VMD

Dr. Jesse Robinson earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia in 2003, but he soon realized that the tech industry was not where his heart lay. He moved to Portland, ME after graduation and discovered a passion for working with animals. In 2014 he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Robinson began his veterinary career doing a mix of large and small animal medicine in Pennsylvania.  In 2021, he had the opportunity to move back to southern Maine to work at the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. After 2 years working in shelter medicine, Dr. Robinson found that he missed the personal connection of working directly with clients and their animals and decided to go back into general practice.


Dr. Robinson lives in Scarborough with his wife and fellow veterinarian Megan, their daughters Dagny and Marin, 2 dogs (Bagel and Egg) and 3 cats (Spike, Tabouleh and Fig Newton). They love to spend time at the many breweries, restaurants, beaches and trails that the area has to offer.  Dr. Robinson also enjoys playing soccer and disc golf and is a passionate soccer and New England sports fan.
