How SMVC is adapting to the current COVID-19 situation across the world.
We continue to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible with the CDC guidelines as well as the American Veterinary Medical Associations recommendations. We have been accommodating essential appointments, filling medications, dispensing food and providing limited office hours.
Appointments: Essential appointments include; rabies vaccines, pediatric vaccines and medical treatment for patient that the veterinarian deems necessary. If you have an appointment we ask that you remain in your vehicle up arrival and call us to check in. The receptionist will discuss your appointment and a technician will come out to bring your animal in the building for the doctor to examine while you wait comfortably in your vehicle.
Drive-Thru: We are asking that clients to please call ahead to pay for medications, food and all other products over the phone prior to coming to the drive thru for pick up. We are still able to sell our flea/tick products and heartworm preventatives so please call for your order and it will be ready and waiting at the window :)
Hours: We are currently open Monday thru Friday at 8:00am. We have been limiting our hours based on daily needs so we ask that you please call ahead to check our daily hours before driving to the clinic. We are closed Saturdays until further notice.
Appreciation: Thank you so much for your understanding during this difficult time. SMVC values our patients and clients dearly. We are all facing this challenge together and need to support one another more than ever. We will continue to be safe, courteous and compassionate and ask that our clients do the same.
