UPDATED September 7th 2021 Thank you for continuing to understand and cooperate with our safety guidelines. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible we will continue our curbside services indefinitely following the Maine CDC social distancing guidelines. We strive to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We understand that wearing a mask can be difficult at times but for the health of everyone we require all staff and clients to wear a mask when interacting if they are not fully vaccinated. We would like to thank you in advance for understanding that curbside services can cost longer than expected visit times. Please be kind and remember we are doing our best to make sure patients are seen and exposure is at a minimum. We look forward to seeing you.
How SMVC is adapting to the current COVID-19 situation across the world. We continue to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible with the CDC guidelines as well as the American Veterinary Medical Associations recommendations. We have been accommodating appointments, filling medications, dispensing food and providing Monday thru Friday office hours.
Appointments: If you have an appointment we ask that you remain in your vehicle up arrival and call us to check in. The receptionist will discuss your appointment and a technician will call you when the doctor is ready to see you in the exam room. We are allowing one person inside the exam room to be present for the appointment. We ask that you wear a mask Drive-Thru: We are asking that clients to please call ahead to pay for medications, food and all other products over the phone prior to coming to the drive thru for pick up. We are still able to sell our flea/tick products and heartworm preventatives so please call for your order and it will be ready and waiting at the window :)
Hours: We are currently open Monday thru Friday at 8:00am - 5:00pm. We are closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Appreciation: Thank you so much for your understanding during this difficult time. SMVC values our patients and clients dearly. We are all facing this challenge together and need to support one another more than ever. We will continue to be safe, courteous and compassionate and ask that our clients do the same.
